Our statement of faith is below. To find out more about our stance on key issues and areas of focus, read more on our priorities.
- We believe in one eternal and Holy God who is without fault.
- We believe the Holy Bible to be God breathed and God inspired. That God used men to write down what is our manual for life. In these days of great deception, we stand on the infallibility and complete truth of the Holy Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16)
- That we are all created in his image and we’re made perfect, but from the first sin of Adam and Eve have fallen and become imperfect. (Romans 3:23)
- That the price we pay for our sin is death, but God in his mercy and because of the unconditional love that he has for each of us, saw our plight as sinners and sent his Son Jesus who, being free from sin died through crucifixion on the cross in our place. On the third day, he rose again and in so doing defeated sin and death. (Romans 6:23, Hebrews 10:10)
- Jesus Christ is our Lord, he is the Messiah who died for us so that we can gain forgiveness for sin through repentance and may be grafted into his inheritance and live eternally with God. (Romans 8 & 11, John 3:16)
- That the only way to be saved from our sin is through the blood of Jesus Christ (John 14:6)
- We believe in the full power and works (signs & wonders) of the Holy Spirit which is the part of God that comes to live within us that guides us in our daily lives.
- That we are called to be radical followers of Christ, seeking to do as he would do and in doing, being in but not of the world. (John 15:19)
- We are called to surrender ourselves to God and allow Him to use us and transform us by the renewing of our minds for the Glory of His kingdom. (Romans 12:1-2)
- That Christ will come again to judge the living and the dead. (2 Timothy 4:1)
